Thank you to Dave Ferguson for sending me these three photos of workers at British Ropes works in Bath Street Leith.  All three photos were taken in June 1956 when Dave's wife, Jean (Jinty) Rutherford, worked there.

The Ropery

"These photos were all taken on my wife's Brownie camera at  British Ropes' works, or 'Ropery' as it was known locally, in Bath Street in June 1956.
