Time Gun Map  -  1861

Map 1:   This map, produced in 1861 showed the time taken for the sound of the one o'clock gun to travel from Edinburgh Castle to various parts of Edinburgh and Leith.

Map 2:   A copy of the map as it was published (i.e. without my grid lines dividing the map into sections.
