The Firth of Forth

July 2004

Queen Mary 2

Queen Mary 2, the largest liner in the world is to visit the Firth of Forth and to berth for a day off Hound Point, close to the Forth Rail Bridge, en route to Norway on Tuesday 12 July.

It is expected that the visit to the Firth of Forth will become a regular feature on the liner's cruises to Norway.  Forth Ports Authority are considering creating a new entrance to Leith Docks that would enable large liner including Queen Mary 2 to berth at Leith Docks.
