The book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book in a seven-book series by J K Rowling went on sale at midnight on 20/21 July 2007 at several branches of Waterstone's Book Shop and elsewhere in Edinburgh. Here, the queue has reached from Waterstone's Bookshop at the west end of Princes Street, up Castle Street, then part way along Rose Street and back towards Castle Street. There is at least one Harry Potter character in the queue. |
