Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book in a seven-book series by J K Rowling went on sale at midnight on 20/21 July 2007 at several branches of Waterstone's Book Shop and elsewhere in Edinburgh.

Here, is a the shop front of Waterstone's at the East End of Princes Street.  The customers leave the shop with their books through this door.  The books have now been on sale for about 40 minutes and the queue still stretches into Saint Andrew Square, so it looks as if some will have to wait a few hours yet for their copies.
