The book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book in a seven-book series by J K Rowling went on sale at midnight on 20/21 July 2007 at several branches of Waterstone's Book Shop and elsewhere in Edinburgh. Here, is a short queue that had formed by early afternoon outside Waterstone's Bookshop at the East End of Princes Street. There is a large 'Harry Potter' display in the shop window. The reflection of the Balmoral Hotel at the corner of Princes Street and North Bridge can also be seen in the window. |
