The book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the last book in a seven-book series by J K Rowling went on sale at midnight on 20/21 July 2007 at several branches of Waterstone's Book Shop and elsewhere in Edinburgh. Here, is a short queue that had formed by early afternoon outside Waterstone's Bookshop at the West End of Princes Street. The queue begins at the barrier at the shop doorway, with the Harry Potter scarf attached. There were several customers in costume.
