Foot of the Walk

This rather tattered postcard has not been posted.  It has no name of photographer or publisher, so I don't know its date.

It is an early street scene, looking down Leith Walk at its junction with Great Junction Street.  The buildings behind the statue (of Queen Victoria?) have now been demolished and replaced by a shopping centre.
