On the corner of Middle Meadow Walk This photo was taken in November 2010, from Lauriston Place, looking to the east towards the northern end of Middle Meadow Walk The old police box, which had previously sold coffee, was now under new management. It had been given a re-paint with orange wreaths on the sides and had oranges in its hanging baskets. For the past four months it had been selling crepes and fruit smoothies. The seller, who was inside his Police Box chopping up fruit for his smoothies, introduced me to Dorothy, a pigeon outside the box with only one foot. |
