Lauriston Place

On the corner of Middle Meadow Walk
and Lauriston Place

This photo was taken from Lauriston Place, looking SE towards the northern end of Middle Meadow Walk.

The closest box is on Lauriston Place and  is one of the original Edinburgh Police Boxes, still in place but not used for many years.  It is made of heavy metal.  The box in the background is now in use as a coffee stall and is mounted on  a trailer.  A closer look at this box shows that it is in fact a reproduction and is made of wood.
