The House

The Graffiti has been high on the walls on the west side of Home Street, Tollcross for some time  -  probably at least a year, maybe much longer.

I recognise the style of house painted in this graffiti, in the middle of the photo.  I've seen similar in other pieces of Edinburgh graffiti over the past two or three years.

Can anybody tell me any more about it, or who has been painting these houses in graffiti around Edinburgh?

The Liquorice Club

The black windows with shades above them at the bottom of this photo belong to a lap dancing club, The Liquorice Club.  This used to be The Fantasy Bar.

There used to be silhouettes of lap dancers painted in white on these windows, but City of Edinburgh Council insisted that these should be painted over.

Incidentally, I see that The Liquorice Club is now for sale. offered on the Mitula Property web site for a price of £300,000
