This view looks across Granton Square and down Lochinvar Drive (formerly Middle Pier Road) leading to Middle Pier, Granton Harbour.

RIGHT:  The new apartments are now just about complete, and some are occupied.  Here is a photo of the apartments as construction began, three years ago:

The scaffolding has now been removed, giving a better view of the apartments, but the view across Granton Square to Granton Harbour has been lost.

LEFT:  Granton Square was once a busy terminus for trams from Leith.

The 2007 photo shows newer transport - a bus on the No 37 route that links Granton Square with Penicuik. The bus is in the Edinburgh Harlequin red, gold and white livery but with blue added to identify 'Route 37'.
