Frederick Street

Looking to the north down Frederick Street

This view looks to the north down Frederick towards Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens, following Edinburgh's first light snowfall of the winter in December, 2011.

Roads closed to Traffic

The streets have been closed to traffic to allow the new tram lines to be re-laid along Princes Street.  Here work on the new tram lines has been halted for the Christmas and New Year festivities, and Princes Street has been re-opened to pedestrians for a few weeks.
