This is one of many new road signs that appeared on roads in the New Town of Edinburgh in 2005 as the Central Edinburgh Traffic Management scheme was introduced. These road signs are in Frederick Street a short distance before the bollards that close the road between 10.30am and 11.00pm. Despite being signposted in advance many motorists seem to be surprised when they reach this junction and have to perform a u-turn at the bollards and return to Queen Street. |
