 Crib

West Princes Street Gardens

This nativity scene was created by the Edinburgh sculptor, Tim Chalk in 2003.  Sir Tom Farmer, founder of Kwik-Fit, paid for the sculpture and gifted it to the City of Edinburgh.  It could be found in the 2003 Christmas season beside the  floral clock in West Princes Street Gardens, close to the foot of The Mound.

There has been a floral clock in Princes Street Gardens each summer since 1903.   Recently, beginning in 2003, a Winter Floral Clock has been planted at the same location.

The statue to Allan Ramsay is by Sir John Steele, 1865.
