Coffee Roasting Here, Ralph Lutton is operating the coffee roasting machine. This is an oil fired machine, dating from 1973. Ralph Lutton is operating the machine. It can hold 100kg of coffee beans. Roasting reduced this to 87kg if lightly roasted or 80kg if well roasted. When I visited the company in September 1994, it was doing 25 roasts per week. |
