"These photos all come from the family collection of the grandson* of the young guy standing in the middle of this picture of the station staff at Dalry Road Station.  They were given to Robert Pelosi several years ago, then passed on to me.

*  I think his father was eventually in charge of Dalry Shed.

Railway Locos

"We're not sure where these photos of the railway locos were taken, but we think it was somewhere in the Slateford area of Edinburgh, near or in a brewery or maltings.

I was thinking that the locos might be shunting either the Caledonian Distillery or Lorimer & Clark's brewery at Gorgie/ Slateford or perhaps both."
