"Here is a photo of miners at Bo'ness, West Lothian, Scotland.  It includes, Hugh Kirkland Gourlay,  grandfather of my wife, Kate. He is 4th from the right in the photo, with moustache and wearing a waistcoat.

Hugh was born in Ayrshire in 1882.  He married in Bo'ness in 1909, where he was a miner. Latterly, he lived in Haddington Place, Edinburgh, until his death in 1960.

Kate and I believe that this photo would have been taken in Bo'ness, possibly during the General Strike in 1926."

Questions

"1.  Do you recognise any of the other men in the photo?

2.  Can you tell me anything more about the photo?"
