Children's Home

Challenger Lodge, at 15 Boswall Road, Trinity, Edinburgh was bought by the Edinburgh Cripple and Invalid Children's Aid Society in 1929 to replace the society's children's homes at Nellfield and Viewforth in Edinburgh.

It remained a children's home in the care of the society until shortly before the premises opened as St Columba's Hospice in 1977.
