The Location
Here, the company is beside the railway line that
ran through Victoria Park then crossed Ferry Road. This photograph
has been taken a short distance to the north of Ferry Road.
The photo has been taken in 1914 from Connaught
Place, close to Letham Park. The houses in the background are in
Gosford Place. |
Today
The railings and the houses look very similar today,
in 2010, but there are now many more trees in this area.
The railway and the railway bridge have gone.
The route of the railway has been converted to a cycle track and footpath.
