Boxing Team

"This photo is of a a Semi-International Boxing team that fought against Wales at Hoovers, Merthyr Tydfil in 1960.

We were a fill-in for an East German team that were refused travel visas to the UK.  It was right at the height of the cold war with the east, and about the time that they were building the Berlin Wall."

Caledonian Railway Station

"The photo was taken about 1 Nov 1960 in Caledonian Station at the West End of Princes Street."     (This station closed in 1965.)
