4th Portobello Rovers

Thank you to Kenny Dickson for sending me the two photos above.  Commenting on these photos, Kenny wrote:

Photo 1 "The Rovers were given the old Post Office at Heriot - on the road to Galashiels for a nominal fee of 1p providing they kept in good order, it was used as a base for outdoor pursuits. Most of those in the photos came through the Cubs and Scouts into the Rovers and met in the halls of New Restalrig Church at Willowbrae Road. The people in this photo are (left to right): Back Row: -  Alan Askings -  Angus McLennan -  Andrew Crosbie -  Hugh Campbell -  Kenneth Dickson -  Bill Capmbell -  John ? Front Row -  Front Row: -  Bruce Dalziel -  John Cathcart -  Victor Adams -  Charles Porteous The four wearing anoraks had just completed a 24 hour Edinburgh Scouting 'Thumbstick Challenge Hike'."
