Passing the Leith Tram Depot  -  1954

Photo taken 20 August 1954

This tram and lorry, travelling up Leith Walk, are passing the old Leith Tram Depot between the
Foot of the Walk and Pilrig.  The old railway bridge (now demolished) across Leith Walk can be seen.

Entering and Leaving Leith Tram Depot  -  When?

When might this photo have been taken.  Other photos from the same collection are all from around the
early-1950s, but this one may be from an earlier period.  The car on the left is certainly an earlier model.

Tram 265 in this photo was new in 1933.    Ref. Edinburgh Transport, The Corporation Years, p.154 (DLG Hunter)
