Holyrood

Salisbury Crags

Route 36 runs from Ocean Terminal, the new shopping and entertainment complex at Leith Western Harbour, to Holyrood.

The Holyrood Terminus is in Horse Wynd, the road that runs between the new Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace.

This view looks along Horse Wynd towards the terminus.  It is a quiet scene in the early evening, with just two security men patrolling in front of the Scottish Parliament.

In the background are the lower slopes of Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags in Holyrood Park.  The building with the domed roof on the right is the Exhibition centre, Our Dynamic Earth, in Holyrood Road.
