Clerwood Terminus  -  Route 26

The Terminus

This view looks to the west across Clermiston Road towards the bus stop for buses departing from Clerwood to Tranent and Seton Sands.

This is one of ten Lothian Buses operating on Route 26 featuring 'Zoom to the Zoo' adverts for Edinburgh Zoo.  The zoo is close to the Clerwood terminus.  Buses pass the main gate to the zoo as they travel along Corstorphine Road.

There are ten vehicles that will carry these adverts under a two-year contract beginning in June 2008.  There are five different themes, using two buses for each theme.

The themes are:

-  "Recognise Anyone?"         -  featuring chimps

-  "Dive On"                                 -  featuring penguins

-  "Have a Purrfect Day Out"   -  featuring tigers

-  "Go Faster Stripes"                -  featuring zebras

-  "Take Off!"                                -  featuring rainbow lorikeets
