Granton terminus  -  Route 19

The No 19 bus here is waiting at its terminus on the western side of Granton Square, amongst a collection of black cars parked beside the roundabout.

The name 'Forth Corinthian Yacht Club' can be seen on the building with its flag in front of the bus.  This is on of two sailing clubs based at Granton Harbour.  The other is 'Royal Forth Yacht  Club' with its clubhouse on Middle Pier.

On the left of the picture is an EIS (Educational Institute of Scotland) poster for the forthcoming Scottish elections to be held on May 3, 2007.  It reads:

They deserve the best education

Find out what the parties are offering. Then vote.

MAKE SURE YOUR VOTE COUNTS FOR SCOTTISH EDUCATION     eis

SCOTTISH ELECTIONS 3 MAY

Behind the poster is William Waugh's scrap yard and on the right-hand side of the picture are Len Lothian self storage warehouses, both no doubt to be replaced by new buildings at some stage as part of the Edinburgh Waterfront re-development.
