The No 8 bus is seen here waiting on the eastern side of Pennywell Road, close to the roundabout at Muirhouse Parkway after dropping off passengers there. In the background is new housing built recently in the Granton Mill area. Just visible in the upper left corner is one of the cranes helping to construct new houses as part of the Edinburgh Waterfront development. |

It then goes via West Pilton Crescent and West Pilton Bank to reach the western side of Pennywell Road. Here it picks up passengers for its return journey to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. |
