Route 26

Route 26 is a frequent service that runs

BETWEEN: Clermiston in the west of Edinburgh, beyond Edinburgh Zoo

AND:             Tranent and Seaton Sands beside the Firth of Forth in East Lothian, to the east of Edinburgh.

The route is painted on the back of the buses.

The photograph was taken in Princes Street, approaching the junction with Hanover Street.  From left to right in the background are:

-   The National Monument, Calton Hill

-   Nelson Monument, Calton Hill

-   Balmoral Hotel (formerly the North British Hotel), Princes Street

-   Scott Monument, Princes Street
