The Photo
"This photo is from one of those old Max Spielman paper positives, It's one I took with my Brownie 127 at Turnhouse*."
The Occasion
"When I took this photo, Turnhouse was open to the public. It may have been a 'Battle of Britain Day', possibly around 1954."
The Aircraft
"The aircraft is a Boeing B29. I think it eventually settled into the grass over the weekend and had to be dug out."
