Standard Life Offices

In 1996, Standard Life moved into its newly built Head Office at 30 Lothian Road,  in Edinburgh's new financial district, 'The Exchange.'

The left-hand thumbnail photograph above is the original photo.  It was taken with a wide angle lens from the pedestrian island in the middle of Lothian Road, looking NW towards the main entrance to the building.

The main photo at the top of this page is a manipulation of the original photograph, using Photoshop to straighten the verticals and convert the colours to black and white.
