Princes Street This photo was taken from The Scott Monument in August 2009. It looks along Princes street towards the West End as new tram lines are being laid. On the left are trees and flower beds in Princes Street Gardens, with the Royal Scottish Academy separating East Princes Street Gardens and West Princes Street Gardens at The Mound.. On the right is part of Edinburgh's New Town, Princes Street in the foreground with Rose Street and George Street further back, built in the 18th century. |
