The First Floor Gallery

This photo was taken, looking to the east along the first floor balcony of the Royal Museum in April 2008, three days before the museum closed for three years of refurbishment.

On the plinth in the foreground, seen from behind, is an 11th century Central Indian statue in sandstone, 'Surasundari'.
