Western Breakwater

Granton Harbour

Granton's Eastern and Western Harbour are separated by Middle Pier.  The Eastern Harbour is still used, mainly by yachts.  The Western Harbour has been partially reclaimed, and until recently was left as a wilderness, but it will soon be developed as part of Edinburgh's Waterfront project.

The pictures here are of the Western Breakwater, that separates the Western Harbour from the Firth of Forth.  The island of Inchkeith can just be seen in the top-left corner of photo 2 above.
