Here is part of the ever-changing scene outside William Waugh's scrap yard as a succession of vehicles arrive for scrapping.

The scrap yard is close to Granton Square at the eastern end of West Harbour Road. 

The sign promoting Edinburgh Waterfront to developers is in the centre of the picture, situated on the old railway line that ran from Granton Harbour via Crewe Toll to Princes Street station at the West End of Princes Street.
