Official Opening Ceremony Waverley Market opened for business as a shopping Mall in 1984. The Official Opening Ceremony was performed the following year, on July 4, by the Queen. There seem to be fewer cameras in use amongst the spectators than we would see today. Who is that following the Queen down the escalator? |
