Cosmo Innes was an photographer from around 1840.

He presented papers on photography to the Royal Scottish Society of Arts in Edinburgh

The inscription on the front of this gravestone reads:

IN MEMORY OF

WHO DIED 31ST JULY, 1874

AGED 75

AND

ISABELLA ROSE

HIS WIFE

BORN 3RD DECEMBER 1806

DIED 11TH MAY 1891

 

The inscription on the left-hand side of this gravestone reads:

ALSO OF TWO SONS

JOHN

AND

FRANCIS JEFFREY

WHO DIED IN INDIA

AND THE YOUNGEST SON

COSMO

WHO DIED IN LONDON

18TH JUNE 1887, AGED 45

 

 

The inscription on the right-hand side of this gravestone reads:

ALSO OF HIS SON

HUGH ROSE

AND

FRANCIS JEFFREY

WHO DIED 13TH DEC 1868

AGED 36

AND OF A LITTLE DAUGHTER

EUPHEMIA

WHO LIES IN THE

OLD CALTON BURYING GROUND

 

The inscription on the back of this gravestone reads:

ALSO OF HIS SON

JAMES

AND

FRANCIS JEFFREY

WHO DIED I5TH AUGUST 1901
