This view looks to the east towards the Slidey Stane, from the higher ground between the two footpaths that lead into the park from the southern end of St Loenard's Bank. Arthur's Seat, 823 ft high, in the centre of Holyrood Park, is in the upper-left corner of this picture. In the upper right corner of the picture, beyond the lower footpath at the edge of the park, there is new housing on the site that many remember as the old brewery. |
