The view in the large photo above looks to the SE across the land used to store pipes brought to Leith for re-coating, around 2000, towards the level crossing at the junction of Marine Esplanade and Seafield Road.

Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags in Holyrood Park (to the left and right respectively of the two blocks of flats) can be seen in the background.
