1996 Meadowbank Retail Park was built in 1996 on the site where Miller' London Road Foundry once stood. The foundry closed in 1991. The photograph at the top of this page looks to the NW across London Road towards the boundary wall of the old London Road Foundry. In the background, the framework for Meadowbank Retail Park can be seen under construction. |
