Samson's Ribs

'Samson's Ribs' is a rock formation that lies on the north side of the road through Holyrood Park leading from Newington to Duddingston Loch.

In this view, we look up from the foot path and cycle path close to the entrance to the Innocent Railway tunnel in Holyrood Park.

The blue sign beside the path reads:

-  TO THE LEFT:     -  St Leonard's  1

                              -  City Centre  2

-  TO THE RIGHT:   -  Bingham 1 3/4

                              -  Dalkeith 10
