Looking down on Dumbiedykes

View to the North

This photograph was taken on Christmas Eve, 2010 from the Radical Road that runs beneath Salisbury Crags in Holyrood Park.

It looks down on the multi-storey flats at Dumbiedykes, built to replace the old tenements demolished in the 1960s.

Edinburgh Castle is close to the skyline, centre-left.  The clock tower of the Balmoral Hotel at the East End of Princes Street can be seen on the extreme-right of this photo.
