The entrance is at Drum Terrace.

The Scene

I took the view above on a fine, warm, sunny day in March 2012, after visiting Eastern Cemetery to look for the gravestone of John Gold, the grandfather of Connie Telfer-Smith, one of the contributors to the EdinPhoto web site.

Connie grew up at  Easter Road, Edinburgh, and now lives in Norfolk Island, in the South Pacific.  Here is a photo that I took of John Gold's gravestone in the cemetery.  It is the one on the left in the foreground of this picture.
