East Wemyss

Beside the Firth of Forth at East Wemyss, about 15 miles NNE of Edinburgh, are caves with  Pictish rock art carvings from the fourth century

The photographer, James Patrick, referred to these in a lecture given to Edinburgh Photographic Society in 1894.
