Location Comely Bank Cemetery lies close to Comely Bank Roundabout, between Craigleith Road and Crewe Road South. The original entrance to the cemetery used to be in Craigleith Road, close to the Royal Victoria Hospital. The present entrance is in Crewe Road South, close to the Western General Hospital. The war graves in this photo are at the western side of the cemetery. They are on two levels. This view looks along the lower level. Here is a close-up of one of the graves on the lower level. |
