Dean Bridge

Transport in 1936

This view looks across Dean Bridge - the road on the right leading to the NW over the Water of Leith towards Barnton and Queensferry.

The roads on the left are Lynedoch Place and Bells Brae.  Dean Bridge is seldom seen with so little traffic today.

In the thumbnail image below, we look to the SE across the bridge towards Edinburgh.  This photo was taken in 2009:
