Above the
picture on this postcard is a banner with a quote from Burns:
"Watching high the least alarms, thy rough rude fortress
gleans afar."
This
postcard was posted on 24 December 1900. In common with
other postcards of the period (up to 1902) it has an undivided
back. The message is written on the front of the card
and the address is written on the back.
