The Postcard The view on this postcard looks to the south down Marchmont Road, from the junction of Marchmont Road and Melville Drive that runs along the southern edge of The Meadows, near the centre of Edinburgh. The postcard was published by J Bold, Edinburgh. It was sent through the post in May 1938. There is a monogram that appears to be JC or CJ on the front of the card. I don't know whose initials these are. |
