The vast scale of the work, being undertaken to repaint the Forth Rail Bridge can be seen from this picture.

The current re-painting work is expected to take about 7 years from 2002.

The paint should then last for 20 years.

The Forth Rail Bridge, covered in scaffolding and partially encapsulated for painting.
