Richard wrote:

"This photo, by E R Yerbury & Son, Edinburgh, was taken December 1907, and shows staff of Thomson & Porteous.

My grandmother is seated on the extreme right.  The names of her fellow workers are written in her own hand.

This photo was taken before she was married.  She has listed herself as M.A. Holtom.   She was 19 at the time of this photograph.  She later became Mary Ann 'Polly' Butler.
