Thank you to Bryan Gourlay for sending me this photograph of a class at Preston Street school.

Bryan writes:

"Audrey Simpson from Tollcross, Edinburgh, left a message in the guest book on  January 24.  

I remember her mother who was in my class at Preston Street.

I’ve attached a photo of our class.  I'm guessing it would have been taken around 1951-52.  I think Audrey's mother, Rose, is on the far left of the front row."

"I just happened upon this website.  My name is Violet Crouse (nee Cunningham) and am currently home here in Edinburgh on holiday from Canada where I emigrated in 1960.

I remember Hoggy and most of the others in the picture and connected with Janet McDermott on my last trip home three years ago.

I would be interested in hearing from Joan or anybody else.   I will be here in Edinburgh for a couple of more weeks.."
